Hive Check : It's been a long, long winter

I have lost one hive.  The other has a small cluster near the top of the hive.  I got a message from a friend who said she made some candy for her bees and it looks like I'm going to need to do the same. 

Excuse me while I go cry, and mourn the loss of yet another hive.
